This summer, we asked our friend Scott Partridge to design a kickass GoldSprint shirt that we could sell as a fundraiser for GoldSprints in Charlotte. A GoldSprint setup is pretty expensive, so we sold the shirts to help make it happen. Our first event was only for those that purchased shirts, (think of it as a lo-fi kickstarter campaign). Our friends at Mac's lent us an empty warehouse space for the evening, and we "decorated" it just for the event. Patrick Harrington edged out Tim Anderson for the Men, and Merrill Thierman beat Fauna Moore to win the Womens' Division. We can't wait to do it again!
