The 612 chromoly frame and fork blend traditional touring and randonneuring geometry for a bike that's at home on a fully loaded trek across the state, or knocking out club rides after work. A complete set of rack and fender braze-ons let you dress up the Space Horse in whatever livery you need for your particular adventure. The long and winding road calls for equipment you can count on, and a 2x10 Shimano Tiagra drivetrain promises smooth shifts and hill-topping gearing for miles to come. The whole package rolls on a pair of Alex/Tiagra wheels equipped with 700x35c trekking tires, and a pair of Tektro cantilever brakes keep the fun under control. Salsa cockpit components and an All-City saddle provide excellent rider contact points. And all the usual All-City details are present, including a pump peg, rust-fighting ED coating, a stylish integrated seatpost clamp, and internal top tube cable routing.

A relatively short rear end and a bottom bracket that’s slightly lower than a standard road bike gives it both agile handling for riding unbridled and increased stability when loaded. With the addition of the all-weather control of Hayes CX-Expert disc brakes, and the ability to fit smaller riders better by utilizing 650B wheels on the 43cm and 46cm versions, this Space Horse is without a doubt the best version yet.  A complete set of rack and fender braze-ons let you dress up the Space Horse in whatever livery you need for your particular adventure.
